250 new cases of TB diagnosed in Angolan province in 12 months - At least 258 new cases of tuberculosis have been registered in the Angolan town of Luau, in the eastern Moxico province, from January up to date, the Director of the Lau Health Centre, Justino Liamana, said on Wednesday.

Without comparing data, the official said that eight patients died of the disease at the centre during the period.

The centre has capacity to admit eight patients at a time and services are provided by six health workers, a number considered insufficient.
