Kigali, Rwanda - The president of the Rwandan Football Association, General Jean Bosco Kazura, resigned on Tuesday on 'personal grounds', sporting sources in Kigali told PANA.
The resignation is said to be related to the poor performance of the national football team during the qualifying matches of the African Cup of Nations, CAN 2012.
The team lost 0-5 to Côte d'Ivoire less than two weeks ago.
His resignation follows that of the national coach, Ghanaian Sellas Tetteh.
