Football-Nigeria - Peter Odemwingie is on course to lead the Albion attack against Liverpool despite concerns over a thigh injury. The Nigeria international is back with the Baggies after leaving his country's national squad, whose medics had expressed fears of a possible torn thigh muscle. But Baggies boss Roy Hodgson reckons Odemwingie, who was excused from Nigeria's 3-0 win over Kenya, will be ready to face the Reds at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
Hodgson said: "Peter is OK. He trained yesterday, as did Youssouf Mulumbu. It was good to have them back. They have got a day off to rest today, which they probably need as they both travelled.
"So, by tomorrow they will be fully fit."
