Football-Nigeria - Coach Samson Siasia has bowed to pressure releasing the duo of AC Milan's Nnamdi Oduamadi and Bayelsa United's Ekigho Ehiosu to beef up the attacking line up of the U-23 Olympic which tackles Equatorial Guinea Saturday in Benin. But the patriotic gesture to release the two players has not gone down well with Coach Siasia's back room staff, which we learnt was furious Monday over the latest concessions to the Olympic team. Siasia's Dutch Assistant Simon Kalika we reliably gathered is not a happy man watching some of the players he labored to fish out in Europe now being taken over by the junior national teams.
The Eagles camp was said to have been angered at the manner Coach Eguaveon is making the demand on the Super Eagles coach after the players have been invited noting that the development has negatively affected the plans of the super eagles crew.
The latest release brings to three young stars invited to the senior national team but who have been asked to join Eguavoen in the Olympic squad. Obiora Nwankwo joined the team last week.
Already Siasia has called in Victor Moses to boost the squad following the redeployment of Oduamadi and Ehiosu.
The Wigan FC of England winger is one of 14 player expected to come today ahead of the nations cup qualifier on Sunday against.
