Brazzaville, Congo - The mayor of Brazzaville, Congo, Hugues Ngouélondélé, and his counterpart in Dakar, Senegal, Khalifa Sall Ababacar, Tuesday pledged to establish a municipal cooperation 'for a trilateral partnership between Brazzaville, Dakar and Nouakchott'. 'The best way to develop our countries quickly and efficiently is to set policies at the helm, think global and act local. Only that way can our policies be effective and efficient and that is why in our three capitals we should share our experiences,' said the Senegalese major after his audience with Mr. Ngouélondélé.
He hopes that within the framework of the trilateral cooperation, the focus would be on practice rather than theory.
Under the deal, the municipal governments will strengthen cooperation in education, vocational training, exchange of experiences while carrying out major international projects in the areas of sanitation, water supply, health and youth development.
