Royal Club Hosts Charity Golf - Bright secondary school students unable to continue with their education due to of lack of school fees may benefit from a charity golf tournament set for Friday at Royal Nairobi Golf Club. For the fourth year running, the Rotary Club of Milimani has organised a fund raising golf tournament where funds raised will be used to replenish a scholarship fund that has actively supported bright children who would have no chance of attending secondary school due to lack of fees.

Noble venture

Sammy Etemere of the Rotary Club of Milimani, said about 20 members of the club, well wishers and other partners have always been key supporters of this noble venture that seeks not only to educate youngsters but also help build their self esteem and give them hope for a brighter better future.

"In 2010 we raised over Sh650,000 and sponsored 12 boys and girls in various secondary schools in the country. This year we target to raise Sh1 million to cater for the increased number of needy children who will greatly benefit from this project" said Etemere.
