Fire disatser Niger's justice ministry - France has accepted the request from Niger for assistance to investigate Monday night's problems in Niger's justice ministry, the deputy spokesman of the French ministry of foreign affairs, Romain Nadal, said Wednesday in Paris.

'We are looking into the modalities of our assistance to quickly meet this demand,' he declared in the news briefing.

According to stocktaking by Niger's authorities, nearly 60 years of archives and numerous pending judicial cases were burnt during the fire which also burnt out the office of the justice minister, keeper of the Seals, Marou Amadou.
