Mali: African young lawyers' group meets in Bamako in November

African young lawyers' group meets in Bamako Mali – The first conference of the African federation of associations and unions of young lawyers (FA-UJA) will be held from 9-12 November in Bamako, the Malian capital, organizers told PANA here.

The opening ceremony will be presided over by president Amadou Toumani Touré of Mali and president Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal.

The topic for the meeting will be “which Africa for young lawyers?”.

Organizers are expecting about 200 participants at the conference where young lawyers from Africa and Europe will, among other issues, the 'Role of young lawyers in Africa’s democratic process'.
