Rwandan U-20 soccer team coach sacked

Football - The Rwandan soccer federation Friday announced the dismissal of its U-20 soccer team coach, Croatian Tomislav Obradovic, for poor results.

The Croatian manager was appointed in 2007 but he failed to take the team to the Jeux de la Francophonie, organized in October in Lebanese capital city of Beirut.

Two days earlier, the federation sacked fellow Croatian Branco Tucak, the chief coach of the senior national team, after he failed to qualify the country for the next African Cup of Nations, slated for Angola in 2010.
