The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.31%, climbing from 129.87 to 130.27 points while the BRVM 10 index closed at 142.59 points, up 0.39%.
In a statement here, the bourse said the value of the transactions was 397, 89 million CFA francs, compared to the 125.76 million CFA francs reported on Wednesday.
It said that trading involved 13 of the 38 companies listed on the stock exchange and that the number of securities traded climbed to 8,419.
According to the statement, 16 of the 20 accredited brokerage firms, including eight from outside Cote d'Ivoire, took part in the trading.
Stock market capitalization was 2,763,511,969,075 CFA francs while that for the bond market rose to 513,445,020,230 CFA francs.
On the bond market, 364 bonds were traded for a total value of 3.27 million CFA francs, not counting accrued coupons.
