The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.20 per cent, climbing from 130.27 to 130.53 points, as the BRVM 10 index closed at 142.99 points up 0.28 per cent.
The value of the transactions was 163.50 million CFA francs, compared to the 397.89 million CFA francs reported last session.
Trading involved 17 of the 38 companies listed on the stock exchange, while the number of securities traded climbed to 69,279.
Seventeen of the 20 accredited brokerage firms, including nine from outside Cote d'Ivoire, took part in the market.
Stock market capitalization was 2,768,907,304,660 CFA francs and that for the bond market rose to 513,770,124,070 CFA francs.
On the bond market, 49 bonds were traded for a total value of 489,620 million CFA francs, not counting accrued coupons.
