The BRVM Composite index lost 0.06%, dropping from 132.04 to 131.96 points and the BRVM 10 index closed at 143.95 points down 0.17%.
In a statement, the bourse said that the value of the transactions was 55.25 million CFA francs, compared to the 85.96 million CFA francs which was reported on Monday.
It said that trading involved 20 of the 38 companies listed on the stock exchange and that the number of securities traded climbed to 9,908.
Fourteen of the 20 accredited brokerage firms, including seven from outside Cote d'Ivoire, took part in the market.
Stock market capitalization was 2,799,326,107,316 CFA francs and that for the bond market rose to 509,327,731,640 CFA francs.
On the bond market, it said 43 bonds were traded for a total value of 410,800 CFA francs, not counting accrued coupons.
