Football - Sunshine Stars football club of Nigeria has lost its top place in group B of the CAF Confederation Cup mini-league phase, following a 1-0 away defeat by MAS of Morocco on Saturday.

The victory propelled the Moroccans to the top of the group, and pushed Sunshine Stars to second place.

In the group's other match this weekend, former champion JS Kabylie of Algeria recorded its third consecutive loss, with a 2-0 pounding by Motema Pembe of DR Congo.

The Congolese club is third on 4 points, while Kabylie remains glued to the bottom of the group on zero point.
