Dakar, Senegal - Mali's local national football team beat that of Guinea Bissau 3-1 on Monday evening in Dakar in their Group B match of the 5th edition of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) tournament.
The goals of the Eagles of Mali were scored by Malick Traoré in the 42nd and 50th minutes and Thiécoro Keïta in the 60th minute.
Mirobaldo Bamba reduced the score to 3-1.
The second round matches in the group slated for Wednesday will be between Benin and Guinea Bissau, and Niger and Mali.
