Lagos, Nigeria - With all but one invited players now in camp in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, members of the country's senior national team, the Super Eagles, are set to begin training for Saturday's friendly against Botswana in southern Benin city.
The local media reported Wednesday that only England-based star Victor Moses is yet to report to the Eagles' camp.
The 20-year-old had recently been cleared by world soccer's governing body, FIFA, to play for Nigeria, after he represented England at age-group levels.
Star forward Osaze Odemwingie has opted out of the matches due to injury, Nigeria Football Federation officials said. The Eagles, under new coach Stephen Keshi, are billed to train twice ahead of the friendly. The second friendly will be played in the northern city of Kaduna on Tuesday against Zambia.
