The media have been generating a lot of interest in the match with football fans expecting a great game. The Brazilians were expected in town on Friday.
Laurent Nzeyimana, Director of Mass Sports at Burundi's Youth and Sports ministry, said the Brazilian side would be made up of former stars of the great football nation who had played for the national team in more than one World Cup before retiring to devote themselves to charity activities.
Mr Nzeyimana added that the Brazilian team would also distribute footballs to support the development of the sport in Burundi.
