Military helicopter crashes in Sudan, kills all six on board - Six military men, including two officers, died Friday when the military helicopter in which they were flying crashed in the regional capital of Al Obied, 700km west of the nation's capital, Khartoum, the official Sudan news agency said.

It said the helicopter developed a technical problem three minutes after take-off from the airport and, when the captain tried to land, it crashed killing all aboard immediately.

The news agency, which quoted an army statement, did not say where the helicopter was flying to at the time of the accident, and no other details were available.
