Football - Ahead of the 21 Jan. kickoff of the 2012 African Cup of Nations, Zambian coach Herve Renard has said he is happy with his team's preparations for the tournament.
The Chipolopolo of Zambia are currently training in South Africa for the African showpiece event.
“I feel Chipolopolo is now capable of winning AFCON matches. Everything is possible in football, yes we are not among the favourites but we can pull a surprise and win the cup. All we need is hard work and commitment,' Renard said, according to the regular updates on the preparations by the official website of African soccer's governing body, CAF
Zambia is due to play a test match against South Africa 11 Jan before departing for the Nations Cup finals 18 Jan.
The Chipolopolo is in the first round group A with co-host Equatorial Guinea, Libya and Senegal.
