Angolan delegation visits Morocco, host of 20th African Handball Championship - Ahead of the 20th African Handball Championship to be hosted by Morocco 10-12 Jan., a delegation of the Angola Handball Federation has been dispatched to the venue to prepare the grounds for the country's teams.

The delegation, due to leave Luanda on Thursday, will inspect facilities, including accommodation arrangements.

Federation Chairman Pedro Godinho and his deputy, Ilídio Candido, are on the delegation.

Angola will send both male and female teams to the championship.

Already, the male team is in Leiria, Portugal, for pre-competition training, while the female team in France.

The Angolan male team is in the same group with Nigeria, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire, Algeria and Cameroon, while the female team is grouped with Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire and Cameroon.
