Brazilian researcher discovers giant marine reptile fossil in Angola - Brazilian researcher José Luis Neves said here Thursday that he discovered in Angola last May, a site and a marine giant reptile fossil, PANA reported.

Neves told the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP) that the reptile was one of the greatest of ll times and was about 10 metres long.

He said the reptile weighted 10 tonnes and the fossil was located on the Barra do Kwanza maritime shore, in Luanda.

'I feel very honoured by the discovery and it serves as a retribution to the country that hosted me with open arms to collaborate in its development,' he said, adding that similar species had been found in England, Norway, Australia and Alasca.
