Niamey, Niger - Niger’s Justice Minister Marou Amadou, also spokesman for the government, has confirmed the arrival in Agadez, in the north of the country, of four generals close to Libyan leader Mouammar Kadhafi.

Mr. Amadou said at a press briefing in Niamey that the team 'involved the air force chief of staff and his pilot, the military commander of the Ouzouk region and the commander of the Oubari region.'

He also announced the entry of six 'ordinary Libyan citizens' into Agadez.
