Tripoli, Libya - Iran has expressed its willingness to assist the Libyan people in several sectors, especially that of health, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Akbar Salihi said Friday in Benghazi.
In a press release issued at the end of talks with the Libyan National Transitional Committee (NTC) Chairman, Mustapha Abdeljelil and other NTC officials, the head of the Iranian diplomacy said some 72 injured Libyans will be admitted in Iranian hospitals for medical treatment.
Talks between the NTC chairman and the Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister and his delegation focused on various aspects of cooperation between the two countries and how to promote them for the interest of the Libyan and Iranian people, according to the Libyan news agency.
Salihi visited the re-education centre for the disabled and prothesis making in Benghazi.
