Cameroonian Muslims expelled from CAR arrive

Douala, Cameroon - Cameroonian Muslims who were kicked out of their abodes in Berberati, the second largest city in the Central Africa Republic (CAR), have arrived in Kenzou, eastern Cameroon, PANA reported Monday.

The Cameroonians are victims of the renewed fighting in the CAR, where the mostly Muslim Seleka rebels and the largely Christian anti-balaka militia have been engaged in internecine fighting

Fighting broke again last weekend despite the appointment of Catherine Samba-Panza as interim President last week and the naming of a new government to help steer the country out of the crisis that started last year when the rebel coalition forced out President Francois Bozize.
