FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup: Ghana beats E/Guinea on penalties to qualify for World Cup finals - Ghana on Sunday qualified for the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup after beating Equatorial Guinea 4-3 on penalties in Accra.
The Ghanaian ladies, called the Black Princesses, won 1-0 in regulation time to bring the aggregate score to 1-1 after losing the first leg a fortnight ago 1-0.
Beatrice Sesu scored in the 17th minute for Ghana. The Black Princesses then went on to win on penalties.
Ghana joins Nigeria as the continent's two representatives for the tournament to be hosted by Canada between 5 and 24 August.
