Greece to help train Libyan soldiers, police

Army - Greece is to assist Libya to train its soldiers and police personnel, according to an agreement signed by the two countries in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, Thursday.


PANA reports from here Friday that with the agreement, Greece joins the US, Turkey, France and Morocco among the countries that have participated in training Libyan soldiers and police personnel.

Though the details of the pact have not been revealed, it is in the framework of the plan being implemented by Libya to build of a modern and professional army and police.
