2014 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica - Ghana takes on Germany Tuesday at the ongoing 2014 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica in a Group B day 2 match that could vault the West Africans into the second round if they win.
The Ghanaians won their first match 2-0 against North Korea on Sunday and a win against Germany will take them to an unassailable lead (6 points) on the table.
However, Ghana must be weary of the Germans who had to come from a demoralising first-half 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 with Canada.
The West Africans must step up their game to brush aside the very resilient German team.
In the other Group B match, North Korea will take on Canada.
The other African team on parade Tuesday, Zambia, has an uphill task when it takes on Venezuela, which whitewashed host Costa Rica 3-0 on Sunday in Group A.
Beaten 2-0 by Italy on Sunday, the Zambians must beat Venezuela to stand a chance of advancing, depending on what happens in the match between Costa Rica and Italy.
