Trade exchange talks EU - Morocco

The European Union (EU), Morocco begin free trade exchange talks.


The European Union (EU) and Morocco will begin talks 22 April aimed at establishing a complete free trade exchange agreement between the two, according to official sources in Brussels Wednesday.

An EU press statement said, when signed, the agreement will give impetus to the current economic ties between the two sides.

Apart from the the commercialization of goods under the current accord, the new agreement will cover ties in goods and services, intellectual property rights, the protections of the investments and the progressive integration of the Moroccan economy into that of the European bloc.
