Football - Ghana's coach Kwesi Appiah has named his squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Sudan in Kumasi, central Ghana, on 24 March. The Black Stars head coach has named four debutants in the 24-man squad, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced on Tuesday.
England-based midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong, Baba Rahman of German Bundesliga club Greuther Furth, Sweden-based David Accam and Hearts of Oak attacker Mahatma Otoo have been given their first Black Stars call-ups.
There are only three home-based players - Mahatma Otoo (Hearts of Oak), Fatau Dauda (AshantiGold) and Daniel Agyei (Liberty Professionals)
Ghana are second on the Group D table behind Zambia in the qualifying campaign.
