Banking products and services - Standard Bank Namibia has opened a business centre in Walvis Bay. The new centre, located in 11th Road in the harbour town, offers banking products and services targeted at small and medium enterprises as well as local entrepreneurs.
Besides customer service, the new centre offers services like business banking, private banking, home loans, and corporate and investment banking.
The new building is designed to give better and more private customer consultant cubicles, closed bulk deposit cubicles for business and high volume customers, while new-look enquiries counters enhance customer interaction, with designed internet cubicles for better and private transactions for customers.
"As a customer-centric bank it is very important that we deliver excellent customer service. We aim to operate in a 'customer sales driven' environment - meaning that it is not all about selling, but importantly it is also about meeting our customer expectations," said Standard Bank Namibia's chief executive officer Mpumzi Pupuma.
