Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier: Nigeria Vs Kenya

Football - 24 Eagles in camp, resume training today. The Super Eagles camp in Abuja ahead of the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against Kenya has recorded full house, as all the 24 invited players reported at their Bolton White Hotel camp on Sunday.

It was the first time the Super Eagles were regrouping since winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations trophy in South Africa in February.

Both the old and new invitees look lively and eager to make an impression on the coaching crew headed by Stephen Keshi.

But Keshi said earlier training scheduled for yesterday evening at the Practice Pitch of the Abuja National Stadium, has now been shifted to this morning at the same venue. His reason was plausible. "Most of the invited players apart from those of Enyimba and Rangers International played on Sunday evening and they must be fatiqued from hurrying to camp, so we have to allow them get some rest if we are to get the result that we want from them".

At the last count almost all the 24 players invited to camp had arrived including standin skipper, Chigozie Agbim, Warri Wolves towering defender, Azubuike Egwueke, Sunshine stars man in the middle, Godfrey Oboabona, goalie Daniel Akpeyi of Heartland of Owerri, Rangers' Chibuzor Okonkwo, and the Kano Pillars duo of Gabriel Reuben And Papa Idris, Benjamin Francis is also in camp. All the new invitees were also in camp as at the time of this release.

More players were still finding their way to camp as at lunch time and Keshi said he wanted a full house on Tuesday morning hence the reason for the shift in training schedule.
