Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire - Business at the West African regional stock exchange (BRVM) ended Friday on the rise, the second straight day, with the BRVM index 10 rising from 259.84 to 262.64 points, an increase of 1.08%, PANA reported Saturday.
The Composite BRVM index gained 0.89% to 246.37 points against the 244.19 recorded on Thursday.
The transaction generated 469.47 million CFA franc against Thursday's 465.66 million francs, and the market capitalization reached 5.981.98 billion CFA franc, whereas that of the market rate rose to 1.182.72 billion CFA franc.
SONATEL SN (Senegal) remained the most active in value with 15.864 exchanged shares, worth 372.64 million CFA franc.
