Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire - The West African regional stock exchange (BRVM) ended business Wednesday down against Tuesday's performances.
BRVM index fell from 258.25 to 257.87 points, a decrease of 0.15% like the Composite index BRVM which slid 0.43% to 242.78 points against 243.83 on Tuesday.
The transaction value was 549.89 million francs CFA against 538.98 million francs CFA for Tuesday, whereas the market capitalization of shares reached 5.894.63 billion francs CFA and that of the market rate mandatory rose at 1.183.92 billion francs CFA.
Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI-Togo) remained the most active in volume for the third day running as 1,610,769 shared exchanged hands.
The most active company was SONATEL (BF-Burkina Faso) with 283.41 million francs CFA of transactions.
