Tunis, Tunisia - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Wednesday arrived in Tunis for a two-day working visit which is aimed at further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
Upon President Nikolic's arrival, the two countries signed two bilateral agreements including trade and transit of goods and people.
The two parties also endorsed a programme on cooperation in education, science, culture and sports.
Speaking after the signing of the agreements, the Serbian President asserted the readiness of his country to strengthen its bilateral cooperation with Tunisia and pave the way for Tunisian investors to establish partnership with their Serbian counterparts as they worked together to explore new markets.
On his part, the Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki expressed a desire to strengthen the long standing relationship between the two countries.
