The Congolese government is to build 300 houses at Mpila, in north-east of Brazzaville, the capital, where ammunition explosions took place on 4 March, 2012, according to the Congolese Minister of Territory Planning, Jean Jacques Bouya.
He said the houses, which are estimated to cost about CFA Franc 32.2 billion, will be built with support from China.
The minister said that other housing projects were also being planned for sites around Mpila.
The projects will include the construction of public buildings, a school with capacity to host 800 students, a shopping mall and gardens.
