Zambian soccer icon, Kalusha Bwalya, supports Queen Elizabeth Trust

Gaborone, Botswana - Zambia’s former soccer international, Kalusha Bwalya, is to officiate at a fund-raising match for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee this weekend.


Government official Facebook page on Thursday announced that Bwalya, President of the Zambian Football Association, is to officiate at a soccer match featuring Botswana parliamentarians against diplomats residing in the country.

The match will be a curtain raiser ahead of the tie between premier league giants, Extension Gunners, and Township Rollers on 2 March at the University of Botswana Stadium.

The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust supports projects that enrich the lives and opportunities of citizens across the Commonwealth countries, providing a lasting legacy for Her Majesty the Queen.
