The Libyan authorities have identified one of victims of Friday morning's crash of a Libyan medical military plane in Tunisia. He is Mr Al-Mabrouk Issa Al-Dawoudi, a former member of the Libyan transition government led by Abdel Rahim Al-KibMiftah.
He was among the 11 passengers who died in the crash of the military medical plane on Friday morning, near Tunis, Libyan official sources said.
A government communiqué said that the victim was travelling to Tunis for medical care.
Mr Dawoudi was the Emir of a Islamist fighting group, banned by former dictator, Mouamar Kaddafi.
The aircraft crashed in the region of Gharmallah, about 40 km south of the capital.
All passengers on board died in the crash.
