Paris, France - French president François Hollande will on Friday host a working lunch for his Senegalese counterpart, Macky Sall, in Paris, French official sources told PANA.
The French presidency said on Saturday that the talks between the two presidents would focus on bilateral ties and international and African issues, particularly the situation in Mali.
The operational headquarters of the military operation in Mali, launched on 11 January by France to halt the offensive of the terrorist groups to southern Mali, is based in Dakar, according to the French Defence ministry.
President Hollande's first visit to Africa was made to Senegal in October last year, while he was on his way to Kinshasa, DR Congo, to attend the summit of the International Francophone Organization.
