Bamako, Mali - King Mohamed VI of Morocco arrived in Bamako on Tuesday at the head of a high powered delegation, including a dozen of ministers and economic operators, for a five- day official visit to Mali.
According to the programme for the visit, King Mohamed would on Thursday hold talks with his host, President Ibrahim Boubacar Kéita, on strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, security and peace.
He will also lay a foundation stone for a hospital financed by the “Foundation of the King” estimated at 3.5 billion CFAF.
The two countries are expected to sign a dozen agreements in the areas of trade, health, agriculture, livestock farming and industry.
The last visit made by King Mohamed to Mali was in September last year during the investiture of President Boubacar Kéita.
