Football - The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says it is not aware of the reported resignation of Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi, who took Nigeria to its third Nations Cup title in South Africa on Sunday.
Keshi reportedly told a South African radio station on Monday that he submitted his resignation letter to the NFF after Sunday's final, which the Super Eagles won 1-0 over the Stallions of Burkina Faso.
'We have not received any letter from Keshi and nobody has told us that he has quit his job,' an official of the NFF said in Johannesburg Monday.
Keshi reportedly stepped down over an alleged fall out with the Federation, especially over an alleged plan to sack him if the Super Eagles had lost to Cote d'Ivoire in their quarter-final match.
The team and officials are due back home on Tuesday.
