The 560 candidates who applied to be part of those charged with drafting the Libyan Constitution started a training in the capital city of Tripoli Wednesday, PANA reported from here.
The workshop is organised by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in collaboration with the United Nation Support Mission in Libya and with funding from the Japanese government and the Swedish International Development Agency.
During the training, which will last till Sunday, constitutional experts from the Arab region will take the 560 participants through the process of making a new constitution.
The Constituent Assembly responsible for drafting Libya's new constitution will comprise 60 members.
According to the timetable set by the High National Electoral Commission , the members of the Constituent Assembly will be elected 20 Feb.
