2013 AFCON results: Mali beats Ghana 3-1, wins 2nd straight bronze
Port Elizabeth, South Africa - Sigamary Diarra scored four minutes into added on time to give Mali a humiliating 3-1 victory over Ghana on Saturday and a second straight AFCON bronze.
In the third-place match played in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Mahamadou Samassa had given Mali a first-half 1-0 with his strike in the 21st minute and Captain Seydou Keita made it two in the 48th minute.
Keita's second goal of the night in the 72nd minute was ruled scored from an offside position of play.
Kwadwo Asamoah scored in the 81st minute to get Ghana on to the score sheet.
Incidentally, it was Ghana that Mali defeated for their first bronze in the 2012 AFCON edition when Equatorial Guinea and Gabon hosted.
Nigeria will take on Burkina Faso in the final Sunday in Johannesburg.

Port Elizabeth, South Africa - Another goal by captain Seydou Keita in the 72nd minute was disallowed for offside as Mali continues to lead Ghana 2-0 in their 2013 AFCON third-place match here Saturday.
