Bujumbura, Burundi - The Dutch Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Ms. Lilianne Ploumen, Friday rounded off a two-day visit to Burundi with a promise that her country will continue to scale up cooperation with Bunjumbura, particularly in the areas of health, agriculture and security.
On Thursday, Ms. Ploumen visited a number of projects that are funded by the Dutch Cooperation in Burundi.
In return for her country's support to Burundi, she asked national authorities to respect human rights, freedom of the press as well as initiate an inclusive dialogue with the opposition.
