'eLearning Africa' launches photo contest - The fourth edition of the eLearning Africa Photo Competition has been launched, according to eLearning Africa, the continent's largest capacity development event for ICT-enhanced education and training body.
It a statement Wednesday, the body said the competition would be held under the theme of 'Tradition and ICT innovation: a couple with potential'.
Budding photographers are encouraged to send in their photos depicting how ICT is enhancing the way individuals and communities in Africa live, learn, cooperate and connect.
The deadline for submission of entries is 3 April.
The winners will be picked by an expert panel of judges and a public vote, and prizes include a tablet personal computer, a digital camera and an mp3 player.
Now in it's eighth year, the eLearning Africa Conference is set for 29- 31 May in Windhoek, Namibia.
