Campaign against measles to be launched in Guinea

Vaccination campaign for children - Guinean health authorities will launch a vaccination campaign for children, aged 0 to five years, against measles that is ravaging the country, PANA learnt from official sources here.

The campaign will be launched next week, the sources indicated, saying that one child has died while more than 900 were infected by measles, especially in the capital Conakry, over the last one month.

Vaccination against measles is recommended for children to prevent complications from the infection that can be very harmful.
