Economy - Dutch Foreign trade minister to visit Rwanda.
The Dutch minister of Foreign trade, Mrs Lilianne Ploumen, is expected in Rwanda on Friday for a four-day working visit during which she will hold talks with various civil society representatives also visit several development projects financed by her government in the central African country.
The projects to be visited by Mrs Ploumen are on justice, water and sanitation and energy, according to a statement from the Dutch embassy made available to PANA on Friday in Kigali.
It is expected that Rwanda and the Netherlands will tackle how to promote economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, especially in investment.
The Dutch official delegation would also examine ways and means to improve aid granted by the Netherlands since the release of the controversial report made by the United Nations accusing Rwanda of backing the rebellion in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
