Paris, France - French President François Hollande and his Beninese counterpart Boni Yayi will on Wednesday in Paris, France, hold a working lunch during which they will discuss the situation in Mali, the French presidency said Monday.
The two leaders will also discuss relations between France and Benin as well as several African issues, including the continued deployment of troops in Mali as part of the Africa-led International Support Mission to Mali (AFISMA).
The Beninese President, who is the outgoing African Union (AU) Chairman, recently commended his French counterpart for deploying an intervention force to help flush out the armed Islamist rebels in Mali.
