Teaching hospitals, medical centres - Minister of Health Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu has said that the Federal Government has continued the upgrade of equipment in medical centres throughout the federation, which according to him started during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Chukwu said this weekend in Abakaliki during the visit of National Good Governance Tour team to the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, Ebonyi state.
The minister noted that the upgrade cuts across provision of modern and sophisticated equipment, capacity building, enlightenment campaign and improvement in quality of service.
