Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - Experts attending the Addis Ababa conference on climate change in Africa have advocated the maximum use of the information and communication technology (ICT) to effectively combat the phenomenon.
'Although there are multiple information sources, ICT has proved to be influential regarding sensitisation on climate change,' the experts said in their presentations at the conference, which opened on Monday in the Ethiopian capital.
They said ICT could help in reaching a wider audience in agricultural communities, since most of them cannot be reached through the traditional system.
