Health-Israel-Angola - Five sick Angolan children are due in Israel Monday where they will undergo surgery for heart conditions under the Israeli 'Save a Child’s Heart' programme, organized by the Angolan Art and Culture Foundation.
According to the foundation’s director of communications, Cássia Ayres, the five will bring to 63 the number of children who had undergone treatment under the programme.
Ayres told the Angolan News agency (ANGOP), that the initiative followed the protocol signed by the LR Group, Israel’s Save a Child’s Heart non-governmental organisation, and the David Bernardino Paediatric Hospital.
Ayres also said that the children, below the age of five years, would receive full medical
treatment at the Wolfson Hospital, in Tel Aviv.
The kids were accompanied on the trip by relatives.
