Luanda, Angola - Angola's male handball team left Luanda for Portugal on Tuesday for a training programme, ahead of their participation in the African championship set for 10-21 January in Morocco.

Coach Filipe Cruz told the state-run Angolan Press Agency, ANGOP, that the team left without three players who are due to join their colleagues on Wednesday.

While in Portugal, the team will play against the national team as well as some clubs.
